Have you ever just fallen into something with no prior plans and no actual desire to get started? Yeah, that was me with tie dye. I was working for a fitness studio and we were looking for ideas for a fundraiser and I thought tie-dye would be a really fun and easy group activity. We had a trial run and I was instantly hooked!
I went out and bought a few cheap shirts and some cheap dye from the big box store and started experimenting. I caught on very quickly and started thinking, "You know? I could really do this!"
I researched quality dye and quality shirts and started advertising for 4th of July shirts since that was right around the corner. People fell in love with the idea and orders just started pouring in!
From there, "COCO CREATIONS" was born! After some time I wasn't feeling the name of the company so after much thought and input from friends and family, CoCo Creations turned into "TIE DYE VIBES."
So here we are! Tie Dye Vibes was formed in May of 2017 and I've been having fun creating beautiful clothing and adding color into everyone's life since. I've moved from dyeing in the dining room to having a small stuido of my own and lots of support from friends and family.
I hope to keep growing and learning and getting better at my craft every day. I hope you enjoy the art that I've created and that it can bring some joy and color into your life.
